In the spring of 2018, PBL purchased a SciEx 5600 TripleTOF mass spectrometer. That instrument is now fully validated and ready to use for regulated studies. Please see PBL’s blog for more information on the new TripleTOF. Last week, PBL purchased a Meso Scale Discovery (MSD) electrochemiluminescence unit. When high sensitivity, multiplexing, increased dynamic range is required, MSD is a vast improvement over standard ELISA techniques. The new MESO Quickplex SQ 120 MSD unit can also cope with matrix effects much better than colorimetric or fluorescent methods.
