Pacific BioLabs supports development of Clinical drug formulations for various routes of administration, including oral, intravenous and topical administration. Pacific BioLabs works closely with experts in formulation development to identify new approaches to the design of drug dosage forms.
Preclinical in vivo models are then used to compare relative exposures and determine bioequivalence for these new formulations. A variety of preclinical models are used by Pacific BioLabs for bioequivalence studies, e.g., mouse, rat and dog for intravenous and oral routes, and rat, rabbit and pig for topical administration.
